Lukashenko proposes establishing SCO science fund to integrate scientific potential

"The third area of our interaction is humanitarian.

We are grateful for the active participation of SCO countries in the Meeting of Ministers of Education, which was held for the first time this year in the capital of Belarus, as well as for the approved project 'Minsk Initiative' suggesting the creation of a consortium of SCO universities and high-tech corporations.

Belarus also proposes to establish a science fund of the organization that would facilitate the integration of the scientific potential of our countries."

"With the help of this instrument, we will be able to support innovative research projects in various fields: from climate and ecology to smart agriculture, biotechnology, healthcare and pharmaceuticals."
