Lukashenko proposes joint projects and visa simplification with the Philippines

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of his compatriots and personally, congratulated Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Independence Day. The head of state noted that this year marks 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. 'Over this period, we have achieved significant results in expanding Belarusian-Philippine ties, identified promising areas for further development of bilateral cooperation in trade, the economy, humanitarian spheres and other fields, and established a constructive dialogue on international platforms to achieve common goals,' he said. Lukashenko expressed confidence that joint projects in food security and industrial cooperation, as well as visa regime simplification, would help realize the potential of bilateral cooperation. He wished Ferdinand Marcos Jr. good health, success and prosperity, and the Filipino people happiness and prosperity.
