Lukashenko Questions Slow Progress of Danish Red Cattle Breeding Project in Belarus

Upon arriving at "Ustye," Alexander Lukashenko began by recounting the history of the project to breed Danish red cattle in Belarus. Several years ago, agrarians and scientists requested funding for the initiative. Budget funds were allocated, and 1,200 head of cattle were purchased in Denmark. The goal was to develop a local breed adapted to Belarusian conditions. "Then the saga began," said the Belarusian leader. Lukashenko noted that the project's implementation is progressing too slowly. "So what is actually happening, especially here, where we built a modern complex for scientists? Where is the truth? Let's figure it out," the President stated, outlining the main issue.
