Lukashenko Receives Defense Minister's Report on Military and Domestic Issues

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has listened to a report from Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin. Military training is being conducted on a regular basis, taking into account the analysis and conclusions of a comprehensive inspection carried out earlier this year. The military-political situation around the country remains calm, with tension mostly present in the information sphere. There is currently no significant activity observed from NATO forces. There are no signs of preparations for aggressive actions at Belarus's southern borders. Special operations units are deployed in the border areas, ensuring security in coordination with border guards. Military personnel are traditionally assisting agrarians during the harvest campaign, with equipment and operators allocated for related tasks in regions. The Defense Minister also informed the President about implementing an order to send undisciplined and negligent workers from the harvest campaign to military service — regional military commissars have been engaged in this task.
