Lukashenko Sends Greeting to Cuban President on National Uprising Day

Alexander Lukashenko has sent a congratulatory message to the President of Cuba on the occasion of the Day of the National Uprising.

"In conditions of unprecedented, long-term external pressure, your country has shown an example of courage and firmness of spirit. The heroic endurance and unwavering will of the Cuban people command deep respect and sincere recognition worldwide."

The President noted that relations between Belarus and Cuba have always been characterized by a high level of openness, agreement, and mutual understanding. Minsk, he said, is undoubtedly a loyal friend of Havana. It is on this solid foundation that he counts on the further consistent development and expansion of ties with fraternal Cuba within all available opportunities.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez good health, inexhaustible wisdom and success, and the Cuban people peace and prosperity.
