Lukashenko signs decree on changes to state supply of fruit and vegetable products

Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree amending the Presidential Decree on the supply of fruit and vegetable products for republican state needs.

The document provides for the inclusion of long and medium-fruited cucumbers, as well as red tomatoes, excluding cherry and cluster tomatoes, into the list of fruit and vegetable products procured under state orders.

The interseasonal period for cucumbers is set from November 1 to March 31 inclusive, and for tomatoes — from November 1 to April 30 inclusive.

The decree is aimed at ensuring guaranteed supply of fruit and vegetable products to the domestic market during the interseasonal period.
