Lukashenko signs decree on changes to state supply of fruit and vegetable products

Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree amending the Presidential Decree on the supply of fruit and vegetable products for republican state needs.

The document provides for the inclusion of long and medium-fruited cucumbers, as well as red tomatoes (excluding cherry and cluster tomatoes), in the list of fruit and vegetable products procured under the state order.

The off-season period for cucumbers is set from 1 November to 31 March inclusive, and for tomatoes from 1 November to 30 April inclusive.

The decree aims to ensure guaranteed supply of fruit and vegetable products to the domestic market during the off-season period.
