Lukashenko signs decree on conscription and reserve military service

Lukashenko has signed a decree 'On Discharge into the Reserve and Conscription for Compulsory Military Service, Reserve Service'.

The document provides for the conscription of male citizens of the Republic of Belarus in September–November 2026, who turn 18 by the draft date and do not have the right to deferment, as well as conscripts who have lost their right to deferment.

At the same time, the discharge into the reserve of conscripted military personnel who have served the established terms of service is provided.

The adoption of the Decree will allow republican state management bodies, local executive and administrative bodies to timely carry out measures related to conscription for compulsory military service and reserve service.
