Lukashenko signs decree on monetary policy targets for 2027
Lukashenko has signed a decree approving the target indicators of monetary and credit policy for 2027. The document aims to create conditions for sustainable economic growth.
The list of indicators meets the requirements for the National Bank and the banking system as a whole—supporting economic growth while maintaining price and financial stability.
The decree sets the following parameters:
• Consumer price growth – no more than 6%;
• International reserve assets – at least $12.8 billion (a key indicator of the country's economic security and financial stability);
• Share of non-performing bank assets in credit-risk exposed assets – no more than 10% (maintaining this level will ensure stability of the entire banking system);
• Growth in investment financing volume – at least 13% (to support investment lending).
