Lukashenko signs decree to pardon 32 people ahead of Independence Day

Ahead of Independence Day, Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree pardoning 32 people, including 28 convicted of extremist crimes. Among those pardoned are 20 women and 12 men who personally requested clemency, admitted guilt, and expressed remorse. The decision was made on humanitarian grounds considering the convicts and their families.
