Lukashenko signs order to support gifted youth and promising projects

Alexander Lukashenko has signed an order approving decisions of the councils of the President's Special Fund of Belarus for supporting gifted and talented youth and promising projects.

Around 758,000 rubles will be allocated from the republican budget, drawn from the President's reserve fund, for these purposes.

▫️ Presidential scholarships have been awarded to 197 university students.

▫️ Grand prizes with the title of laureate of the special fund have been granted to 29 winners of international olympiads, competitions, and festivals.

▫️ Special prizes have been awarded to 79 pupils, students, cadets, and 11 creative groups.

▫️ Fourteen educators have been honored with the award 'For Contribution to the Upbringing of Talented Youth'.

The Head of State's order aims to identify and support gifted and talented youth, create favorable conditions for their successful studies and further development of abilities, and encourage professional growth among educators.
