Lukashenko to hold talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on official visit

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who will visit Belarus on an official visit on 8–9 July.

As part of the high-level talks, Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will discuss current issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for strengthening collaboration in various fields. A central focus of the talks will be the development of industrial cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

Around two dozen documents are prepared for signing following the talks. The key document is the Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
