Lukashenko: Unity Through Economy Is Key to Prosperity

Look at the decisions we are making today. What is missing here? Missing is the development of what we often declare — the well-being of our peoples, our states, and so on. Where is it on this agenda?

"It's good that we are meeting, good that we've talked, looked each other in the eye, made a statement. But let us take further steps toward closer unity. And unity will be ensured above all by the economy. That means prosperity, that means the strength of our states.

Then there will be fewer discussions about independence, preserving borders, and so on. We need to strengthen the economy."
