Main building of National Art Museum of Belarus to close for renovation

The main building of the National Art Museum of Belarus will be closed for reconstruction. Starting August 11, the museum will temporarily stop receiving visitors as construction, installation, and restoration work begins. Before closing, on August 10, a special program will take place: at 12:00 — a guided tour of the Russian art exhibition; at 17:00 — a performance titled 'Conservation of Air in the Main Building'. Visitors are invited to bring empty jars to preserve museum air as a keepsake. Commemorative tickets in a special design will also be available for purchase throughout the day. On August 10, the museum will operate from 11:00 to 19:00, with the ticket office open until 18:30.
