Main Trend in Preparation for All-Belarusian People's Assembly

The President is currently gathering and analyzing materials on key sectors.

Despite acceptable socioeconomic development results, 2026 is a challenging year. All key indicators in the economy, finance, banking, budget, and public debt are in the positive zone, but the year remains difficult for nearly all sectors.

Head of the Administration of the President of Belarus Dmitry Krutko:

— Agriculture is in focus, and much is being said about industry. For the President, the most pressing issue is industry, particularly flagship machine-building enterprises.

— Another area is construction. At a meeting on rental housing, the Deputy Prime Minister reported on construction and implementation of major projects, as well as on the execution of republican and regional investment programs. Regional governors attended, and a productive discussion took place.

— Housing construction is a separate concern for citizens. An upcoming event with the National Academy of Sciences will feature scientists presenting their developments and reporting on tasks set for them last year.
