Man-eating tiger terrorizes region in India

In the last two days, a wild tiger has killed two people in the northern district of Kheri (Uttar Pradesh state).

Forest rangers believe it is the same predator. A large-scale operation to capture the animal is currently underway in the area: cages with bait have been set up and at least six camera traps installed.

⚠️ This is already the sixth fatal tiger attack in Kheri district in just two months.

The situation remains tense.
