Man in Minsk kidnapped for ransom over non-existent debt

A 51-year-old man from Vitebsk organized the kidnapping to forcibly collect $250,000. The victim was tied up and held for 12 days in a private house, where he was tortured and threatened with violence against his family. Under pressure, the man handed over all his savings.

Nine months later, the criminals attacked him again, demanding another $20,000 and taking his Audi A6 car.
