Man killed by WWII-era explosive in Pinsk district

According to investigators, on July 26, neighbors found a 28-year-old resident of the agrotown Parokhonsk dead in his yard. His body had injuries typical of a mine or explosive trauma. A forensic and investigative team worked at the scene. During the inspection, in addition to fragments of the detonated shell, various casings and components of unexploded mines were found. Witnesses told investigators that shortly before the tragedy, they heard metallic banging sounds from the direction of the victim's yard. It was established that the man was interested in searching for artifacts from the Great Patriotic War, particularly explosive objects. He illegally brought all dangerous finds onto his property.
