Middle East war impacts hit Estonia with sharp fuel price rise
On Thursday morning, fuel prices sharply increased at some gas stations in Estonia: petrol rose to 1.949 euros per litre, diesel to 1.979 euros.
"This is a very significant increase," said Terminal board member Alan Vahk.
Additional pressure comes from low fuel reserves in Europe and the hurricane season in the Gulf of Mexico. He does not expect a noticeable drop in global prices in the near future.
