Ministry of Health suspends registration of Hungarian 'Decaris' with levamisole

The Ministry of Health has suspended the registration certificate for the Hungarian anti-helminthic drug 'Decaris' containing levamisole, produced by Gedeon Richter. The relevant ministry order was published on the website of the state register of medicinal products. The decision was based on a conclusion by Roszdravnadzor regarding the risk to human health when using drugs containing levamisole. Currently, the Gedeon Richter drug is the only registered medication with this active ingredient.
