Minsk couple stripped of parental rights for five children

A Minsk couple has been stripped of parental rights for their five children — four boys and one girl. In 2025, the family was previously given a chance to improve their situation, but the children were removed again due to parental alcoholism, lack of food, and unsanitary living conditions. After the children were placed in a shelter, the parents failed to address the issues. The court granted the claim filed by the education department. The appeal upheld the ruling, which has already taken legal effect.
