Minsk court to hear case of group accused of illegal migrant entry and stay

A group of seven people, including four Belarusians and three foreigners, will be tried in Minsk for organizing the illegal entry and stay of 158 migrants in Belarus. According to investigators, from March 2023 to April 2025, the suspects used fake documents, employment contracts, and work invitations, earning $56,000 through the scheme. The defendants face 3 to 7 years in prison. The criminal case has been sent to court.
