Minsk man beats partner with metal mug, calls ambulance himself

A man in Minsk beat his partner with a metal mug and then called an ambulance for her, according to preliminary reports. The 45-year-old suspect allegedly attacked the woman out of jealousy and threatened her with a knife. Medical workers reported the incident to the police. The woman said she had previously endured abuse. Criminal charges have been filed against the man.
