Minsk Metro Has Carried Nearly 9 Billion Passengers Since 1984

Minsk Metro has carried nearly 9 billion passengers since its opening in 1984. This figure represents the number of trips, not unique individuals. Currently, around 750,000 passengers use the metro daily. The system has 3 lines, 36 stations, and nearly 45 km of tracks. Construction of three additional stations is scheduled for completion by December 2028, with a fourth line planned in the future.
