Minsk Planetarium Observatory Almost Fully Renovated, Fence to Be Removed Soon

The second phase of reconstruction in Gorky Park is coming to an end. The observatory has received new stained-glass windows and a spiral staircase; the facility is now being prepared for commissioning. At the same time, the historical appearance of the 1965 building will be preserved, including the original scaly roof.

Reconstruction of the planetarium itself has also begun: interior finishing work is underway, doors and stained-glass windows are being installed, and a unique roof structure is being mounted. After completion, the venue will feature modern projection and acoustic systems.
