Minsk police bust major drug ring, seize over 1.5 kg of narcotics

Minsk narcotics officers have detained a 43-year-old resident who smuggled a large batch of prohibited substances into Belarus. Over 1.5 kg of amphetamine and cocaine were found in an office space rented by the suspect. Part of the drugs had already been packaged for distribution, but the man did not have time to set up hiding spots. A criminal case has been opened. The suspect faces up to 15 years in prison.
