Minsk Resumes Installing Electronic Timetable Displays at Bus Stops

Minsk has resumed installing electronic timetable displays at bus stops, but there are no plans for a mass rollout yet. The scheduling systems will be installed at all new stops, but existing ones will not be equipped en masse: out of more than 2,000 stops, only about 500 currently have displays. Authorities cite the high cost of the project and explain that the current priority is updating the public transport fleet itself. A year ago, plans to develop the display system were nearly abandoned due to high electricity costs.
