Minsk taxi driver attacked passenger for not saying hello

A 36-year-old passenger in Minsk continued talking on the phone without greeting the taxi driver. The driver stopped the car, demanded he get out, and began swinging his fists. The passenger grabbed his arms and tripped him — the driver fell and sustained serious injuries.

Ultimately, the passenger was sentenced to one year of corrective labor with 20% of his wages withheld and was ordered to pay the driver 3,000 rubles in compensation.
