Minsk to build third transport ring within three years

Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev announced that the third transport ring in Minsk will be built within three years. The main road sections are already ready, but complex work remains near the railway and the Svisloch River, where overpasses and bridges will be required.

The first overpass at Kollesnikova and Timiryazeva streets is expected to be completed this year, with three more to follow. The new ring road is intended to relieve traffic on the Minsk Ring Road (MKAD) and the city center, as well as improve transport links between residential districts.
