Minsk to develop according to the '15-minute city' principle

The capital is planned to be divided into 9 self-contained districts with their own infrastructure: shopping centres, cinemas, sports facilities, and parks.

Authorities also intend to reduce mass construction inside the MKAD ring road and develop satellite towns. The concept is expected to help reduce daily commutes and traffic jams.
