Minsk to host first display of 220-ton hydrogen-powered BELAZ

Minsk will host the first display of a 220-ton hydrogen-powered BELAZ. The prototype of the mining dump truck will be presented at the INNOPROM. Belarus exhibition from September 30 to October 2. Factory testing of the vehicle is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2027.

The Hydrogen BELAZ project has been underway since 2025 and includes a hybrid power system with an output of over 1 MW, a hydrogen storage system, and specialized refueling infrastructure.
