Minsk to Host Two-Day CIS and SCO Counterterrorism Forum

Minsk will become the venue for a major two-day counterterrorism forum of the CIS and SCO. On October 7, delegates will hold a joint conference: the IV meeting within the CIS framework and the XII scientific-practical conference under the SCO RATS. On October 8, the practical phase will take place — the force stage of the 'Eurasia-Antiterror — 2026' exercises. Representatives from 28 countries, 17 bodies of the two organizations, and 10 international organizations are expected. The agenda includes assessing regional threats, exchanging national experience, and discussing international cooperation. Separate sessions will focus on personnel training, countering terrorist financing, and operations in the information space.
