Minsk to replace 11,000 streetlights with modern LED fixtures

In the capital, 11,000 streetlights will be replaced with modern LED lights. The new lighting will first appear on the Minsk Ring Road (MKAD) and Independence Avenue. Additionally, 30 more city facilities will be adorned with architectural lighting. The switch to LEDs is expected to reduce electricity consumption by nearly 40%.
