Minsk Turns 959: Main Celebration Events on September 12

🎉 Minsk turns 959 years old — here’s where the main celebration events will take place on September 12.

At 10:00, a flower-laying ceremony will begin at the 'Minsk — Hero City' obelisk. From 10:00 to 23:00, a fair will operate near the Sports Palace, and at 11:30, the concert 'Minsk of My Soul' will start. Headliner: Akmal.

At 17:00, the 'Minsk Citizen of the Year' awards will be presented at Freedom Square. The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display at 23:00 near the 'Starostinskaya Sloboda' park.
