Minsk will develop within current boundaries, no expansion planned

Minsk does not currently plan to expand its boundaries — the city will develop within its existing limits. According to Minsk's chief architect Viktor Gutyko, the focus is on renovation and development of internal territories. As an example, the former industrial zone of the Motovelozavod plant now hosts a technology park. The next site for transformation will be the area on Tsentralnaya Street.
