Mobile phone explodes in metro car at Nemiga station in Minsk

On September 13 at around 8:00 PM, a mobile phone exploded in a metro car at Nemiga station in Minsk. According to eyewitnesses, the phone split into parts, the battery started smoking, followed by a loud pop. The device was removed from the car onto the platform. No injuries were reported, and serious disruption to train traffic was avoided.
