MoD launches investigation into crash that killed two servicemen

Two servicemen — a junior sergeant of the contract service and a conscript — died in a traffic accident. The injured are currently receiving necessary medical care.

The circumstances are being investigated by a commission from the Ministry of Defence together with the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The military department expresses condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased servicemen. Officials are in contact with the families, and comprehensive assistance will be provided to the families of the deceased. The investigation is under the personal control of the Minister of Defence.
