Monument to legendary Belarusian wrestler Alexander Medved opened in Minsk

A monument to legendary Belarusian wrestler Alexander Medved was opened in Minsk. The monument was installed at the Eastern Cemetery. The ceremonial opening took place on the athlete's birthday. National Olympic Committee head Viktor Lukashenko noted that Medved became a legend of national and world sports, and his memory will live on.
