Monument to three-time Olympic champion Alexander Medved to open on September 16

The monument to three-time Olympic champion Alexander Medved will be unveiled on September 16. The ceremony at the Eastern Cemetery will begin at 12:00 and will coincide with the legendary athlete's birthday. Medved became world champion seven times and is considered one of the most famous Belarusian athletes of the 20th century.
