Muraveyko: Security Is Not Just the Army — It's Also Economy and People's Peace of Mind
New Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Pavel Muraveyko outlined his mission as providing the Head of State with a comprehensive picture and an alternative perspective on events surrounding the country.
"The Head of State has clearly stated: within the context of global and regional processes, we must understand the situation and our readiness to respond to it. Amid rapid development of the economy and social sphere, ensuring security is crucial. This area will be under my supervision in the Administration.
This is not a replacement of existing institutions. This is a strengthening of the Administration: a comprehensive view of ongoing processes so that the President receives all necessary information for strategic decisions. My role is to provide an alternative viewpoint — not necessarily different from security agencies, but deeper, more comprehensive, and linked to the economy and social sphere.
Everything else are components of this security: diplomacy, trade and technology, housing and food. And a significant part is military security: peace, borders, clear skies, and citizens' peace of mind."
