MVD's Cyclone special forces neutralize armed man in Stara Rudnia

Militia received information that a 65-year-old resident of Stara Rudnia village, Ostrovets district, was keeping an unregistered hunting rifle and threatening neighbors.

Militia officers together with the Internal Troops' Ministry of Internal Affairs 'Cyclon' special forces detachment immediately arrived at the scene.

Upon seeing law enforcement, the aggressively acting man opened fire and shot at officers, creating a real threat to their lives and the safety of others. Service members of the special unit swiftly stopped the criminal actions: they used lethal force, neutralizing the assailant.

During the house search, homemade weapons were found.
