NASA plans to spend $2.1 billion on nuclear-powered Space Reactor 1 for Mars mission

NASA plans to spend about $2.1 billion on the development of the Space Reactor 1 spacecraft with a nuclear power unit and its launch to Mars by the end of 2028.
