National security remains top priority — Lukashenko
Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with the security council.
Discussions focused on conclusions already drawn following the recent readiness check of not only the Armed Forces but also units of the Internal Troops. The President emphasized: Belarus harbors no aggressive plans, but given the surrounding situation, it must keep its powder dry. Western countries are actively increasing military spending and armaments.
Therefore, Alexander Lukashenko is categorical: all state bodies of the security bloc must be ready to act professionally, confidently, and promptly.
