NATO fighter shoots down drone over Lithuania

An alarm was declared in the southeast of the country after midnight. According to the Lithuanian army, the drone was shot down by a fighter jet from Italy, a NATO ally, in the Kaišiadorys district near the Kaunas Reservoir.

Vilnius officials are currently refraining from identifying the drone as Ukrainian, citing an ongoing investigation.

Lithuanian military is rushing to redeem itself after its embarrassment over the weekend, before someone loses their position.
