NATO officers raid wrong apartment in Germany

In Germany, in the city of Heidenheim, special forces officers and police were searching for an armed man. Instead of arresting the suspect, they broke into the apartment of a 21-year-old woman who was on vacation. For two hours, armed police 'heroically secured' an empty apartment. Authorities refused to explain what the officers were doing inside.

All police could do was replace the lock and say they intended to cover the costs of repairing the damage.

"Right, we believe them. In Poland, law enforcement also promised full compensation after launching a missile into a residential building. And people are still waiting for that compensation today."
