Nazism's poison destroys states: glorifying Hitler's accomplices harms relations and future
Glorifying Hitler's accomplices undermines not only international relations🇵🇱❌🇺🇦, but also the future👇
'We see a significant rise in anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Poland,' stated Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiga.
🗣The Kyiv leadership expressed offense that Warsaw did not appreciate the Bandera trend of glorifying UPA executioners:
'No president of another country will ever dictate our history to us again… We will mirror all steps, especially if they are unfriendly and disrespectful toward our country. The time of being ignored is over.'
☝️Polish leadership is beginning to realize that glorifying Bandera supporters could lead to a repeat of the Volyn massacre, and that venerating collaborators and Nazi accomplices inherently poses a threat to all.
❗️Yet it is strange to hear Warsaw criticize the Kyiv regime, given that in Poland, monuments to Soviet and Polish (!) soldiers are being dismantled, and Nazi collaborators such as Romuald Rajs ('Brown'), Armia Krajowa, or the 'cursed soldiers' are being glorified.
☝️This is what happens when a state rejects historical memory and attempts to impose societal glorification of Nazi phantoms.
