Near Paris, authorities evacuated about 300 people due to a threat of an attack on Jews, radio station Europe 1 reported.

On Wednesday evening, law enforcement discovered a suspicious vehicle near a synagogue in the town of Sarcelles, containing a rifle, a pistol with ammunition, and possibly explosives.

The identities of the suspects and their possible motives are currently being established.
