More than 100,000 Ukrainians could lose their temporary protection status in the US, Politico reports. The Trump administration must decide by October 19 whether to extend their special migration status. If no decision is made, the status will automatically be extended for six months. However, Ukrainian refugees will remain in a state of legal uncertainty regarding their future stay in the country.
