Pensions to increase by an average of 5% from September 1

An average 5% increase in labor pensions will take effect from September 1. This is stipulated by a decree signed by Alexander Lukashenko. Funding for these expenditures is secured within the limits of funds allocated for pension payments under the Law 'On the budget of the State Extrabudgetary Fund for Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Belarus for 2026'.
