In the Mstsislaw district, a poacher caught 740 protected crayfish, causing damage worth 150,000 rubles. The man used 17 traps. Inspectors managed to return 411 broad-clawed crayfish to the water body. According to the investigation, he also used the rare crayfish to pay for services. A criminal case has been opened against the poacher, who faces up to six years in prison.
